HNS offers comprehensive emergency and basic needs services, case management and long-term solutions to help people overcome situational crises or escape the grips of poverty.
Some of the services we provide include:
Utility Bill Assistance: residents residing within the Thompson School District boundaries may receive assistance with outstanding utility bills. Please call for instructions and requested documents.
Food Assistance: residents are able to come for pre-packed food baskets; based upon family size and availability of product. Please bring a proof of address. Walk-up or curbside pick up process is in place.
Other Basic Need Services: prescription vouchers, gas vouchers (for medical appts and work), referrals to help meet other needs
